WEST DENNIS, MA, – On April 30th, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at O’Shea’s Olde Inne (348 Route 28) in West Dennis, MA there will be a fundraiser for Nathan Wagner’s 2nd AIDS/LifeCycle bicycle ride raising money and awareness to help in the fight to end AIDS. AIDS/LifeCycle is an annual 545 mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles in June in its 11th year. Last year over $13 million was raised, making it the largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in history.
Cape Cod singer/songwriter, Kathleen Healy will be performing along with members of her singer/songwriter circle, and other local artists. Food will be provided by O’Shea’s Olde Inne and there will be prizes, auction items, and giveaways. Admission is free and donations are accepted at the event or in advance at www.nawfightshiv.org.
Musician’s wishing to perform should contact Nathan Wagner in advance of the event. Kathleen Healy will also be hosting an “Open Mic” night at O’Shea’s after the fundraiser from 9-11:45 p.m.
AIDS/LifeCycle is a 545 mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles in its 11th year, and has raised over $73 million to fight AIDS. Nathan Wagner is the only rider representing Cape Cod and was recently recognized for his achievements on this ride by US Senator Scott Brown.
