Boston Mass. – The Human Rights and Education (HR&E) Committee of Boston Pride today announced the next stop on its 2011 – 2012 Community Forum Road Tour. On Wednesday, April 4th, the committee will meet with members of the community at the Randolph Country Club (South Shore) as part of an effort to reach out to local members of the LGBT community to gather feedback and information on how the Boston Pride Human Rights and Education Committee can best serve its constituents. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. at 44 Mazzeo Drive, Randolph, Mass., and is free and open to all.
Social Justice
The HR&E Committee is the arm of the Boston Pride organization that advocates for social justice for the LGBT community by disseminating news, promoting dialogue, and mobilizing people to take action on issues of local, national and global significance.

The success of our community forum in Western Massachusetts sent a clear message that Pride in LGBT communities is indeed relevant,” said Michael Bookman, Co-Chair of the HR&E Committee. “LGBT human rights education was at the forefront of what the attendees wanted to see more of.”
Build Connections & Strengthen Community
“We not only want the South Shore LGBT community’s participation, but we also need feedback to help Boston Pride in its mission to build and strengthen connections to our diverse community,” said Jeff Gerstenblatt, Co-Chair of the HR&E Committee.
