Boston Pride Announces Multi-Year Partnership with TD Bank

Support from TD Bank ensures sustainability of diverse programming 

BOSTON, Mass. Boston Pride announced today that TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has entered into a two-year partnership with Boston Pride that will support the 2014 and 2015 programming of the organization, including the annual Boston Pride Week celebration with the Pride Parade and Pride Festival, Latin@ Pride, and Youth events. This is the first time that Boston Pride has entered into a multi-year agreement with a corporate partner.

Boston Pride supports programming that includes the entire spectrum of the local LGBT community ranging from events for youth, different ethnic groups, seniors and also provides programs focusing on human rights.

TD Bank’s commitment to diversity and inclusiveness are embedded in its company culture which is reflected in its mission.

The theme for the 2014 Pride Parade and Festival is, “Be Yourself, Change the World.” The theme encourages the LGBT community to embrace what makes each individual unique and to use those qualities to change the world for the better. Boston Pride Week 2014 will be held from June 6th through June 15th.
